Rising food prices could wipe out successes in reducing poverty and malnutrition, according to the World Bank. Danny Leipziger, World Bank VP, Poverty Reduction and Economic Management says the report recommends countries introduce or expand cash transfer programs for the poor and warns against food export bans.
